Bangun Ruang Teratur adalah bangun ruang cembung yang semua sisinya kongruen. Karena semua sisinya kongruen berakibat semua titik sudutnya juga kongruen. Karena sisi pembatasnya dan titik sudutnya seragam maka Bangun Ruang Platonik biasa juag disebut Bangun uang Teratur. Kategori lainnya adalah bangun ruang yang tingkat keteraturannya sedikit di bawah Bangun Ruang Platonik, yaitu Bangun Ruang Archimedean. Bangun Ruang Archimedean adalah bangun ruang cembung yang memiliki sisi berupa dua jenis\/bentuk bangun datar atau lebih yang semua sisi bangun datarnya (semua rusuk bangun ruangnya sama panjang). Titik sudut Bangun Ruang Archimedean dibentuk oleh pertemuan bangun datar yang tidak semuanya kongruen. Karena tingkat keteraturan yang sedikit lebih rendah dibanding Bangun ruang Platonic, maka Bangun Ruang Archimedean biasa juga disebut Bangun Ruang Semi Teratur.<\/p>\n\n<p><strong>Bangun Ruang Platonik (<em>Platonic Solid<\/em>)<\/strong><\/p>\n\n<p>Bangun ruang yang termasuk ke dalam kategori Bangun Ruang Platonik ada 5 bangun yaitu Tetrahedron, kubus, octahedron, dodecahedron, dan icosahedron.<\/p>\n\n<p><strong>1.
